Brochure Printing: Shifting from One-way to Two-way
November 27, 2008
Need to make a simple survey? Want to sign people up for a subscription? So, how do you communicate with your target consumers using brochures printing?
Brochure Printing has long been a favorite among direct mailers because they let you reach out to a specific group, have ample space for texts and pictures, and they’re relatively inexpensive. You can have 1000 copies printed with each costing much less than a dollar. However, they are commonly used to disseminate information but not so much to get some in return.
Communicate and correspond
By adding a response form, you can solicit information, comments and suggestions from the people who matter most to your business. Moreover, upgrading your brochure to a self mailer will make this communication more convenient for them.
To create this sort of brochure, make sure that your brochure design has several partitions. If, for instance, you have a z-fold brochure, allot 2 panels, both front and back to the form. One side of this panel will contain the form, whether it’s a subscription form, kit or sample request, or order slip. The opposite page will contain the pre-printed address of your company. If your budget would allow an additional finishing of perforations along the response form, this would certainly be a plus.
A note on the form
Keep your form simple. Make sure that the texts are easy to read and that they don’t appear overcrowded. To save space, you may want to put the details and mechanics of the form on its adjacent page. The simpler it is, the more response you’ll get. This way, your brochure printing project stands a better chance of becoming a marketing success.
If your subscription or survey process entails a more complicated method, you may want to consider another means to do these tasks.
